I guess I was born to fish, my earliest memory is standing on my wood highchair with a toy fishing rod, fishing for goldfish in the kitchen sink. I fished for trout in Potter County, Pa as a teenager, places like Pine Creek, Lyman Run and hunted deer in Elk County. I fished Pa. BASS Federation tournaments starting in 74, was a charter member of the Pa. Bassmen, which I beleive is now the oldest charter in the federation in Pa. And as of 06 fished the American Bass Anglers, or Militay BASS club outings. I started tying flies when I was 12, and always wanted a Orvis bamboo fly rod. I decided to try rod building three years ago, and have been reading and playing around for a while. I had my shop built two years ago, and now I am ready to get down to business. My favorite movie is "Man's Favorite Sport" with Rock Hudson. A sporting goods sales man who is forced to fish a tournament, in reality he had never been fishing in his life. A really good movie, and my idol is Gaddabout Gaddis "The Flying Fisherman", the first TV fishing star.
